Our debut campaign commissioned 9 emerging artists to commemorate the legacy of Grenfell.

We raised 30K for Latimer Community Arts Therapy Centre.

‘Grenfell - 5 Years On’ showcased 20 different works in a free exhibition between September 23-24th 2022.

In partnership with the Gumball3000 foundation, we commissioned nine young, incredibly talented artists to interpret the tragedy surrounding Grenfell in their own way. With a focus not only on the victims but also on the strength of the community that continues to fight for justice.

In addition to the nine original pieces, artwork from young people in collaboration with the Latimer Community Arts Therapy Center (LCAT) was displayed, giving people in the West London community a voice to speak on their own experiences.

The Exhibition.

The Workshops.

Before any exhibition or event we run, we center the needs of the community to ensure we can make the most impact.

Create Community ran a series of workshops with LCAT with young people from the local community in the run-up to the exhibition.

Each design was created by a group of talented young people no older that 14, and allowed them to express the impact of the Grenfell tragedy on them and their community.

The Impact.

All funds raised at the Create Community exhibition went towards Latimer Community Arts Therapy, a charity founded by art psychotherapist Susan Rudnik one day after the Grenfell tragedy.

Following the exhibition we hosted a celebration evening featuring local performers from West London, where the Gumball3000 foundation announced their commitment to LCAT with £30,000 of support for the next 2 years.
